Mabon: The 1st Feast of Ingathering

Welcome to the first Feast of Ingathering! 

"Feast of Ingathering" is another name for the Autumnal Equinox, as is Mabon. The Autumnal Equinox is a time of balance, where the night is the same length as the day. This equipoise is a time to reflect on what has been, and to release it in preparation to go within. 

In these monthly Feasts of Ingathering, I will offer some educational content about the transition we are moving through, and most importantly, we will have an opportunity to share our experience, and offer witness.

The transition, which I call The Revolution, might be felt as discomfort with your status quo, or radical changes in your personal life, or a sense of spiritual awakening. It is unique for each person, though there are common factors, and it is currently touching many of us. It is important to come together to learn a bit about what is going on and how to navigate it, and to participate in witness. When we hear each other speak into our experience and emerging knowing, the current of growth grows stronger, and we grow stronger, together. 

For this first Feast of Ingathering, I will offer basic information about The Revolution, also known as awakening or ascension, as well as astrological and seasonal context about the Autumnal Equinox,  and lunar phases, and why these meetups are called Feasts of Ingathering!
